Learning to read letters and numbers
This video learning example tutorial is best suited to a broadband connection as the movie file size
is very large (15MB). Smaller files for telephone dial-up will
be developed.
Depending upon your version of windows and installed controls, your browser may ask if you wish
to install the Microsoft® Silverlight™ cross-browser media control. This is purely for viewing the online video (a link will appear on left).
To view the video, click anywhere on the video player if it does not start straight
away. Depending upon your
broadband connection speed, the file may take a few seconds to download before playing.
To replay or rewind the video, click the black button on the control.
When you watch the four minute video you will see:
- A relaxed environment
- A child enjoying the game she is playing
- Patience from the adults
- Constant praise
- Gentle instruction when the child becomes distracted
- Letters and numbers
- When to stop
